The kind people at Motel Rocks sent me a couple of their new AW10 dresses to review and I can’t think of a better way to officially say adieu to August and kick off the Autumn, with a post about this uber gorgeous frock…
The Motel Ingrid Dress in Animal offers a subtle approach to wearing an eye-catching print, which really suits those (like me) who favour a hint of a statement, rather than a full-on roar! It limits the leopard design to the top half of the frock, featuring a plain black high waisted skirt to the bottom half.
The perfect booty balancer, I love how it diverts attention away from my pear-shape, focusing on my more delicate top half – whilst the contrast of the billowing, stiff cotton fabric, highlights and flatters my waist. Equally the Ingrid would further enhance an hourglass and add curves to an athletic physique too…so it really is a figure fixing frock!
What sets this dress apart from other 2-in-one’s, is the cut-out cage detailing on the arms; an accent which transform the Motel Ingrid Dress from something fairly run-of-the-mill, to a full pelt declaration of edgy sassiness! This lattice effect feature is a signature style for Motel and one that adds welcomed quirkiness to their designs…
A wonderful addition to the AW10 collection, the Motel Ingrid Dress is so feminine. It’s flattering shape cannot fail to make you feel sexy, whilst the attention to detail adds more flirty edge to the design. Sure to be a best-seller this season, bag this stunning frock pronto!

I feel compelled to write about the AW10 season of French Connection Dresses! I’ve just had a peek at whats arrived in store and there has to be nearly a dozen lust-worthy frocks, that I simply must have! Or at least spent the Autumn dreaming about…
As mentioned on in their AW10 press release, the new collection of French Connection Dresses is brimming with ‘divine drapes, romantic ruffles, pretty prints and shimmering sequins’ offering the very best of the key trends…
There’s vintage inspired shift dresses, bandage body-cons and glittery Grecian numbers, but my pick of the collection has to be the nu- 50′ prom dress! The Elizabeth Rose Dress is so ‘Mad Men’! With it’s metallic gold print and waspish waist, toughen up this stunning frock with thick tights and a leather jacket to avoid looking twee.

The Midnight Storks Flared Dress is feminine, flattering and vintage-esque, whilst the Sadie Stripe Dress offers show-stopping glamour. The Moonbeam Crepe Dress is perfect for those wanting a style that’s understated and refined.
