This past weekend The Sunday Times pointed out what most of us fashionistas already knew, that All Saints Military Boots are the best!
These boots have seen me through all the wind, rain and snow of this past season and are still looking relatively unscathed; more so, the All Saints Military Boot just happens to be the most comfortable all terrain boot I’ve ever worn!

I finally feel like a grown up. Olsen Twins – Elizabeth and James – My wardrobe

The Olsen twins have for a good few years, been on my fashion radar. I love how they seem to effortlessly mix vintage pieces with high end designer labels and equally do the same with a cardigan from American Apparrel.
Recently, the Olsen twins launched their fashion line ‘The Row’ (the name inspired by Saville Row) a high end collection of chic pieces, heavily influenced by classic tailoring; made with expensive fabric and materials. However, the new range, named after their siblings Elizabeth and James is a more attainable line, consisting of relaxed tailoring and contemporary designs. Ashley has said of the Elizabeth and James collection that “it’s a clash between masculinity and femininity”, that is should be seen as both sophisticated and playful.
I’m exited to see Mywardrobe stocking Elizabeth and James - such a fashion forward en vogue range, full of beautifully cut, androgynous garmets, like the Black Double Breasted Blazer, which would look quite at home in Ashley’s wardrobe (probably where the inspiration came from!) I’d team it with a pair of harem pants, killer heels and a crisp white T-shirt.
I’m quite certain the Elizabeth and James collection will be a massive hit as it’s full of such timeless pieces – so if your looking to invest, head over to Mywardrobe fast!

As I mentioned previously, ‘Country Chic’ is set to big a big trend for SS09 with many stores channeling a contemporary version of Laura Ashley-esque prints of yester-year!
Debenhams have created wonderful prom dresses in large flower print, LK Bennet have designed the most beautiful floral peep-toes and Motel have created 50′s style flower print dresses in abundance, but it’s this dress from New Look that really floats my boat! Sassy and sexy, this little New Look number has enough contemporary edge (a result of the waist synching belt) and structured form (thanks to the oversized bow and pencil skirt) that it’s floral and flirty, without being frou-frou. The New Look Large Bow Dress is a stunning alternative to all those floaty flower print dresses as it still exudes feminism…with a little kick.

I’ve always adored Marks and Spencer, but of late their ranges have got better and better, with cutting edge designs and affordable classics – M&S is the place to shop!

I was just have a browse through this months Elle, when I noticed these cute little scents. The Harajuku Lovers perfume by Gwen Stefani. For a while Gwen Stefani has channeled the Japanese/Gaisha vibe in her own unique way, so it makes perfect sense that she should extend her empire to create these kooky little perfumes!
I’m a fan – I think Gwen Stefani is utterly fabulous, she commits to her sound and style (whatever that may be – at any given time) and doesn’t give a hoot about what others may think. Very on-trend! So, if like Ms Stefani, you like a break from the norm, have a ganders at the Harajuku fragrances…there are five different scents available…
Harajuku Lovers GWEN has top notes of fresh coconut, crisp mandarin and apple, a heart of jasmine sambac, magnolia and a drydown of sandalwood. Harajuku Lovers LOVE contains a hint of peach and bamboo leaf mist, with a heart of peony, nectarine blossom, Egyptian jasmine and bottom notes of creamy vanilla orchid and blonde wood. BABY‘s top notes are bergamot and white rose; a heart of orange flower, tiare flower and jasmine petals and bottom notes are white musk, soft wood, vanilla and violet.
