To chanel your Chanel style, have a look at the wonderful high st ‘homages’ on offer – my favourite being the Chanel-esque jacket from Marks and Spencer. A simple dogtooth jacket inspired by French couture, this Chanel-esque jacket would look great teamed with a pair of skinny jeans or wide-leg trews.

Firmly on my fashion radar, I’m so impressed with the high standard of designs and the quality of their garments - most especially M&S bags and shoes…

GM.TV’s Mark Hayes picked their Limited Collection Portobello Shoulder Bag as a must-have for those wanting to channel this seasons tribal trend and its easy to see why! This tribal bag is fabulous – colourful and fun, it’s just the sort of accessory needed to brighten up your day!

For those who fancy trying tribal-ware but are a little reticent; this tribal bag would do nicely as its strong shapes and bright colour are perfectly on-trend and would compliment the simplest of outfits without looking overkill.

I’d team it with a simple T, denim shorts and gladiator sandals…and would finish off the look with a statement necklace. Pukka.

Made up of exotic looking paisley print dresses, catsuits and accessories, the Zandra Rhodes collection for Marks and Spencer is full of summer brights, perfect for holidays and warm summer evenings…

Theatrical and sexy, my favourite piece is this Rose Print Catsuit with metallic detailing. Sophisticated and bang on-trend, this Zandra Rhodes slouchy fit catsuit is inspired by her 70′s designs. A stunner that’s bound to turn heads the intricate detailing of bead-work and gold thread warrants the £65 price tag!

A particularly wonderful on-trend item is this tribal inspired, snake print Pleated Front Tunic, which could also serve as a short shift dress. I adore the way M&S have mixed a formal silky material with casual over-sized pockets, making this dress suitable for both smart wear and dressed down days!

Team with a pair of platform gladiators – either bare legged for a night out or over leggings for day-wear chic. If you’re looking to channel the tribal trend – add some carefully selected jewellery – a pair of ethnic-esque statement earrings would do nicely.

I’ve always adored Marks and Spencer, but of late their ranges have got better and better, with cutting edge designs and affordable classics – M&S is the place to shop!

This table-cloth check dress (mentioned in this weeks Look Magazine) would look great dressed down with plimsole trainers and a grandad cardigan or dressed up with a pair of killer-heeled gladiator sandals and a belt to synch in the waist…
