Style Icon Victoria Beckham has been channeling her inner Hepburn of late, with a look reminiscent of the late star and 50’s Hollywood; this nod to all things elegant extends to her dvb range that has just dropped ship at My-wardrobe!
Victoria’s dvb Tortoise Shell Square Moulded Frame Sunglasses are simply stunning and leave me hankering for an era I wish I’d been a part of. Oozing glamour, the dvb tortoise shell sunglasses are retro-looking, inspired by the 50’s but modernised due to the extra chunky frames, giving them a contemporary edge.

Vivienne Westwood Ultra Girl Pump – Vivienne Westwood Anglomania – Mywardrobe

This might be deemed as indulgent, but I feel the need to write another post about Vivienne Westwood Anglomania shoes. Previously, I wrote about the rubber Mary-Jane shoes, however, a new style has caught my attention, the Ultra Girl Pump. Available in red, navy, white and gold – it’s the Red Ultra Girl Pump I covet most as they’d perfectly compliment my Spring/Summer sailorette style! High-waisted, tailored shorts are in; teamed with a stripy T-shirt, these Vivienne Westwood Red Ultra Girl Pumps would look oh-so-chic!
As a young girl I lived in my Jelly shoes and these rubber peep-toe pumps are creating a huge sense of nostalgia for me. The Ultra Girl Pumps are made entirely of rubber and have a Vivienne Westwood orb motif on one side – so I guess they’ve a little more ’street cred’ than my previous beach shop buys! I’ve just received the most wonderful gift! A client has sent me the Room Service Hamper from Hotel Chocolate as a ‘thank you’ for the work I’ve just completed for a B&B website – how apt!
I am stunned, the Room Service Hamper is pure decadence, Hotel Chocolate includes, two bottles of Lounge Bar Prosecco, champagne truffles, fruit & nut canapés, dark batons and a slab of chocolate in this gorgeous gift.
Having never heard of Hotel Chocolate I feel I’ve now discovered the Utopia of the chocolate world – the chocolate I’ve tasted so far is rich, silky and sumptuous. Move over Cadbury’s – Hotel Chocolate has my booking!

I’ve just spotted these stunning shoes in this weeks Look Magazine! British designer Betty Jackson has created these duel-trend Peeptoe Platform Shoes which are available from My-wardrobe. Block-coloured brights are set to be a huge SS09 trend, so the gorgeous shade of red on these Betty Jackson shoes are spot-on, whilst the gray adds contrast. The patent glaze is a subtle nod to the 80’s without being to in-your-face.

Coast – Lupin Bow Dress – Party Dress – Wedding
I have been invitied to my first same sex wedding! This morning I recieved my invite to Andrew and Lee’s ‘ Pink; Country Chic’ themed wedding, to take place in Devon in June. I am so exited I have actually started planning my outfit and knowing that the wedding will be very flamboyant I’m going to pull out all the stops, to ensure I look fabulous!
Coast was obviously my first port of call and just so happened to be my last, as I found the perfect party dress for the wedding. The Lupin Bow Dress from Coast is just gorgeous; a hot pink, strapless shift-dress that falls just to the knee, this stunning little party dress is sure to turn heads. It’s got an over-sized bow with pale pink trim attached to the sides adding a modern tongue-in-cheek twist that ensures the dress (and wearer) don’t take themselves too seriously! I’m a big fan of Kate Hudson’s sassy style – she always looks like she’s having fun with her fashion. The Oscar De La Renta dress Kate Hudson wore to the Bride Wars Premiere was a stunning choice, a cheeky nod to Bridal wear and the perfect accompaniment to Anne Hathaways tailored ‘groom’ suit.
If you want to steal Kate Hudson’s style, then have a look at this dress from the designer range at Debenhams. Famed for their collaberations, Debenhams have teamed up with Pierce II Fionda to create this beautiful Ivory and Black Embroidered Fishtail Evening Dress, similar to the Oscar De La Renta gown Kate wore to the Bride Wars premier. Although technically a two-piece, Kate Hudson’s outfit was a similar cut to this Debenhams dress, which will add shape to slim girls or accentuate a curvy girls figure and with a price tag of £160 we could all have a slice of this ‘A’ list (wedding) cake!
