Kate Hudson Bride Wars Premier – Debenhams Dress – Pierce II Fionda – Oscar De La Renta

I’m a big fan of Kate Hudson’s sassy style – she always looks like she’s having fun with her fashion. The Oscar De La Renta dress Kate Hudson wore to the Bride Wars Premiere was a stunning choice, a cheeky nod to Bridal wear and the perfect accompaniment to Anne Hathaways tailored ‘groom’ suit.

If you want to steal Kate Hudson’s style, then have a look at this dress from the designer range at Debenhams. Famed for their collaberations, Debenhams have teamed up with Pierce II Fionda to create this beautiful Ivory and Black Embroidered Fishtail Evening Dress, similar to the Oscar De La Renta gown Kate wore to the Bride Wars premier. Although technically a two-piece, Kate Hudson’s outfit was a similar cut to this Debenhams dress, which will add shape to slim girls or accentuate a curvy girls figure and with a price tag of £160 we could all have a slice of this ‘A’ list (wedding) cake!

Heart Shaped Shopper – Urban Outfitters – Look Magazine

I’m loving this Heart Shaped Shopper from Urban Outfitters! Featured in this weeks Look Magazine this cute heart shaped bag is a funky, ethical way of carrying your swag – especially as block colour and quirky shapes are so on-trend!

However, my biggest reason for coveting Urban Outfitters Heart Shaped Shopper, is that the bag is so big, it’ll look slimming against my post Christmas pot belly – result!

‘Homage’ Chanel Jacket – Marks and Spencer

Grazia are calling it ‘Chanelism’, ‘ I’ll call it ‘Chanel-esq’, whatever you chose to call it, there’s no doubt this chic classic jacket is back! The High Street has been awash with wonderful ‘homage’ pieces for some time – but the Chanel (esq) Jacket is my favorite by far. Chic and sexy, the Chanel Jacket has always opitimised great style. A style born from Coco Chanel cutting up her lovers slouchy jumper and bounding ribbons to the outer edges, this look is as famous for the contrasting edging as it is for its tailored, cropped cut.

Marks and Spencer has created a wonderful ‘homage’ to this style, with their 3/4 Sleeve Bound Edge Jacket , beautifully designed with Mark and Spencer’s usual high quality tailoring. The Chanel Jacket is typically paired with a 3/4 length skirt, but a ‘homage’ jacket could be teamed with high shine leggings or indigo skinny jeans for an edgier look.

Beyonce Dress – Miss Selfridge LBD

I was browsing through the new range of dresses at Miss Selfridge when I noticed an LBD with a very unique shape – a statement dress I was sure I’d seen on a Beyonce….after a quick google search I realised that this Miss Selfridge LBD was in fact a brilliant ‘homage’ to the wonderful British Designer Gareth Pugh.

This stunning LBD looks like it’s taken it’s structured shape from the Gareth Pugh dress that Beyonce wore to last years MTV awards! Beyonce’s been sporting edgier, high fashion of late – a look that suits her; but I think she’d be splitting blood if she knew she could get her hands on this Miss Selfridge LBD for £45!

What’s more, the Black 80′ Naples Dress from Miss Selfridge is uber flattering – the dart down the centre of the dress will elongate short bodies (it’s also very sliming) whilst the angular hips will add shape to slimmer figures, they could also flatter heavier hips. Having angular shoulders and hips on this LBD could also create a more pronounced hour-glass shape…very feminine and va va voom! I think it’s an amazing example of why our Great British High Street is so great.
